The Panorama Route is something not to be missed. Places with names such as God's Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon and Dam, and the various waterfalls such as Mac-Mac, Bridal Veil, Horseshoe, Berlin and Lisbon, simply invite you to explore.

Malaria is frequently asked about. We fall in a LOW RISK Malaria Area. Only normal precautions need be taken. Insect spray, cover ankles and wrists at dusk and dawn and make use of a mosquito net or fan in the bedroom at night.
Hoedspruit is only 85 kms from the Phalaborwa Gate and 65 kms from Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park. Graskop, Pilgrims Rest, Sabie, Tzaneen, Hazyview, White River and Nelspruit are nearby towns worth visiting. Khamai Snake Park and the Kapama Cheetah Breeding Project are very interesting.
